Indie Folk Mood Board: Mise-en-scene planning

This mood board has been created from a variety of different images from different indie/folk bands and their potential audience members. I have created a mood board as I believe that it would give me inspiration on what choice of clothing my actors should wear to be identified with this genre. The main image has a vintage approach and includes pieces of clothing that could be worn on a daily basis. This is an important factor to consider for my own music video as it links in with the idea that indie folk music videos are produced on a low budget and the artists focus more on the music element than their star image. 

Indie Folk Fashion 

My chosen artist Oliver Daldry wears similar clothing to these featuring on the board. If I were to include a protagonist portraying Oliver then I would have to ensure that the actor wears similar clothing to give the right impression of his star image. I will also have to consider that Oliver plays the guitar and this is a big part of his image that illustrates that he works hard to create his own work.
